Các hệ thống dùng trong văn phòng cơ bản vẫn sử dụng các mainboard này. Và để mở rộng thêm dòng sản phẩm mainboard chipset G41, tạo thêm sự lựa chọn cho người dùng khi muốn nâng cấp, GIGABYTE đã cho ra mắt mainboard GA G41M – Combo.

Điểm đặc biệt nhất của sản phẩm này thể hiện ngay trên tên mã “Combo” của sản phẩm, đó là khả năng hỗ trợ đồng thời cả RAM DDR2 và DDR3 (tất nhiên là không thể sử dụng đồng thời cả 2 loại RAM). Đây là một sự kết hợp đáng giá đối với những người dùng muốn nâng cấp mainboard từ các nền tảng cũ như chipset 945 hay 965 mà vẫn muốn giữ lại các thanh RAM DDR2 cũ thêm một thời gian ngắn trước khi chuyển hẳn sang sử dụng RAM DDR3.
